The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is the country’s largest nonprofit dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. Following a recent rebrand, they were looking to bring focus to the vital role that community plays in their work. We were instantly inspired by the incredible stories of their volunteers and how they have contributed to the cause after much personal loss, and chose to tell the strength of the Foundation through their eyes. An introductory narrative starts with the story of one life saved from their education programs, then “expands the lens” to show how education was just one of the many ways the Foundation is raising awareness, then how raising awareness is only one of the ways they stop suicide, and stopping suicides is only half of their mission to save lives and provide support. With a portrait photoshoot of the volunteers over the new brand colors, the real-life impact comes to life in an interactive microsite with dozens of videos, statistics and photo galleries.
