CTCN, part of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, plays a unique and vital role in the global fight against climate change. Their mission is to ensure that the most effective technologies and practices are available to all the countries that need them. After our rebrand, we created the 2016 annual report, titled “Global Climate Commitments In Action.” Following the landmark Paris Agreement, where hundreds of countries made specific climate commitments, the book articulates CTCN’s position as the vital link that can ensure countries can have the tools and resources they need to achieve their goals. We created a thematic section at the front of the book that highlights the actions that CTCN is taking. The top of each page lists one of the commitments a member country has made, while the bottom tells how CTCN’s knowledge and technology is helping them meet it, connected by an action word that summarizes CTCN’s role. Response to the brand and report has been overwhelmingly positive, helping to contribute to an over 70% increase in donations immediately following the book’s release.
"I have worked with Ultravirgo on two separate design projects and was very pleased with the service they provided. In particular, they were able to quickly grasp the rather complex nature of the projects, and designed materials that visually reinforced the messaging. Their design and branding work – as well as flexibility and level of professionalism – were excellent and I highly recommend them."
