Let’s get to work.

More than 2 in every 5 economically-active young people in the world are either looking for a job or working but live in poverty. Many who are working remain poor due to substandard pay and lack of opportunity. Decent Jobs for Youth is a system-wide effort from the United Nations to promote decent employment opportunities for the young workforce (roughly 18-29 years old). We worked with the team to create the brand platform around the concept of moving from ideas to action – with a positioning statement, manifesto, tagline and messaging platform. The new visual identity centers on an upward arrow representing opportunity/growth, but with a distinct "shift" where the lines jump. This positive shift is carried through as a graphic device to reflect the change in outcomes that occur when the initiative’s plans are implemented.
